SKETCH 13/12 (2008)
mixed-media (gouache and oil-pastel) on paper
20cm x 20cm
This is an attempt to come up with a theme and structure for 2 canvases for my own viewing pleasure - in other words they will be in my lounge. My wife Debbie likes this - so that probably seals it ! I think the underlying theme is beach pebbles. I have loads in my garden.
However - if you want this version in your home - just email me to discuss

  3. Hey man,
First off, I admire your art and dedication to your passion.

Just to clear things up, I am also against censorship (and I'd like to think I have a sense of humor as well)... But I don't want to link to your site (thank you for the offer though). In my opinion, removing your comment promoting your site is hardly censorship. But perhaps we disagree...

Either way, I do try to do right to others. I wish you the best as you pursue your goals and passions in art and life. God bless,
    Jesse

  4. Eneida - thanks and another hug back - my garden is not so beautiful at the moment - its midwinter and soggy - looking forward to the spring !

Artist Unplugged - thanks for the comments - as always the photo doesn't always do it justice - I've returned to using an old toothbrush to spray colour for shading - which I will be doing with diluted acrylic on the canvas versions. I've found an old spray technique postcard I did in 1982 - which I may post tonight

    Thanks again

    Steve

  5. I am hereby tagging you with the Six Random Facts meme. My friend Monika tagged me. I thought it sounded like a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.
