I always said I would try to be honest with the images I post here. This painting was done a couple of weekends ago- and it seemed to take me with it - rather than me controlling it. It reminds me of some paintings from Germany and Italy in the 1920s - I'd have to go back and look at some of my books to remind myself. I have just been looking at the original - and I like the vitality. Be interested in anyone else's views.
Still waiting confirmation of my PayPal account at which point I will start pricing works on this site - but as always, if you are interested in buying this or would like to discuss a commission then email me at

  1. This is a great example of expressionism, and indeed it reminds me of something out of Germany in that era too! Seriosly, it's very emotive, there is a strong, raw, tribal energy about it and wonderful that you let the painting take you 'there' rather than trying to control it, which I know is very hard not to do.

    Stay safe,
    Carmen
