- I am a self-taught freelance artist based in Plymouth(UK). I started painting in late 2008.I am aiming to have my own studio, but at the moment I work in my garage. I have sold work locally, throughout the UK and overseas. Currently I have work exhibiting in 3 venues in the Plymouth area. I was recently awarded a public-art commission in Plymouth ( only 3 artists will be invited over 2 years)providing an image for the back of the big-screen in Plymouth city-centre - as part of the city's contribution to the Cultural Olympiad in the run-up to the 2012 Olympics.The project is entitled he Big Blueprint. The painting is called "Argyle Man" and can be found on this blog. I had my first solo show in September / October 2010 at Bistro One in Plymouth.
