BUCKLAND BARK 2008
A lot of my time has been taken up with prep work for my canvases - so I had a look back at some recent photos, haven't posted any recently - and thought it would be nice to put this one on the blog - it's the bark of a yew tree - in the grounds of Buckland Abbey the old home of Sir Francis Drake - just up the road from here - I have enhanced the colour slightly (but not much - a little saturation ) - I'm thinking that this will make a nice abstract canvas in acrylic.
Hi Steve,
ReplyDeleteYes I agree it would look lovely as a canvas. Nice job).
Sarah
This is beautiful! I love your work.
ReplyDeleteI love the movement and the dance of the colors. Reminds me of my senior prom for some reason. Maybe it was due to my first glass of wine today.
ReplyDeleteAnywhoooooooooo.......
Love it!
It would look great over my desk now that I view it again.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Well thanks again to all of you - as I've always said - feel free to print and put it on your wall ( or over your desk) just tell people who produced it ...pass it on ... I want to be out of my desk this time next year ...
ReplyDeletebest wishes
Steve
