BEGINNINGS 1 - 3 (2008)
PRIVATE COMMISSION - SOLD
triptych
all acrylic on canvas
all 90cm x 30cm
Delivered this afternoon to a happy customer. Thanks very much to Roger for the commission and the enthusiastic response when he saw them for the first time.
Despite the fact that I have sold watercolours before - that was some time ago - so I was quite nervous taking them along this afternoon - especially because Roger gave me a free hand to do whatever design and concept I wanted, the only stipulation being the dimensions of each canvas.
Roger and I are going to wait a week before we discuss the paintings - looking forward to that
So these aren't for sale - they've gone !!
If you are interested in a commission - email me to discuss
Abstract fractals - nice!
ReplyDeleteI had to go away and remind myself what fractals are - so thanks for the comment - yes I suppose they are. A little update - Roger who bought the paintings from me has told me today that initially the were intended for his hall-way but now he is putting them in his lounge.

I really liked these and hope their new owner will enjoy them. I was wondering if they would be hung as shown, one above each other, or in some other order.
ReplyDeleteRuth - thanks for your lovely comment - originaly when Roger ordered them they were going to be end to end - but when I dropped them round he started thinking in terms of the arrangement above - if it's in his lounge ( having seen it) I suspect it's more likely to be like that - but it's up to him - they're his now.
