FENCE 09/18 (2009)
21cm x 18cm
SEAFRONT 09/17 (2009)
20cm x 22cm
Two experiments with materials and technique. I'm still a bit miffed - the photo does not do full justice to the colour - (this was my 3rd attempt to get them right) - especially on "Seafront".
As always if you are interested in buying these, others on this site or a commission - just email me to discuss.
Unfortunately these two pieces have "had an accident" and no longer exist - exept digitally. RIP

Helo,I was just interested how it dryes,I mean the paint on plastic,do yo use some medium as underleyer?Gesso? I like your experiment, greatings.
ReplyDeleteAleksandra - hello, and thanks - i apply the acrylic straight onto the plastic - the paint slides around a lot - and if it's diluted it separates like using an oil/wax resist - but that's half the fun. Once it's on I just let it air dry and it stays quite solid on the surface, so no underlay.
