I am slowly working through a back-catatlogue of some paintings and experiments. This abstracted landscape was done a few months ago following a walk on a beautiful winter morning around Burrator Reservoir on Dartmoor (about 5 miles from my house). It is based on the shapes and colours of the dark coniferous plantation - little glimpses of light showing through - and a wire fence. It's not an attempt to show it for real - just to capture the feel. Not sure if it works totally. Like to hear some views.
