Here are the first two works from the weekend just gone. The abstract reminds me of printed 19th century wallpaper ... I think. I love the way acrylic slides around on the smooth surface - before drying rock-hard with lots of lumps and bumps.

The original coloured pencil sketch was based on a newspaper image of a locally elected official ( I think in the Carribean - can't remember now).I remember he looked a bit stuffed into his suit and tie - he was pushing his way through a crowd - I think someone was holding a poster up on the right. I'm quite pleased with the end result. Always glad to hear what you think.
